Our Story Seven was never created to sell skincare. It was created to help people feel beautiful in their own skin. When I was young, I struggled with my skin. After being bitten by fleas, my arms and legs were left covered in marks. I became deeply insecure and started hiding my body whenever I could. I avoided wearing shorts, dresses or anything that showed my skin. Especially during the summer, when everyone else seemed so carefree, I wished I could feel that same confidence. I remember looking at other girls and wondering what it must feel like to be comfortable in your own skin. Seeing how much it affected me, my mother did what she had always done. She turned to nature. Growing up, natural skincare wasn’t just something we used—it was part of who we were. My mother learned from my grandmother, who believed that the most powerful ingredients don’t come from a laboratory. They come from nature. For generations, the women in our family handcrafted natural body creams, hair care, deodorants and skincare using carefully selected ingredients that truly cared for the skin. One of those homemade creams became part of my own journey. Day by day, my skin became healthier. Softer. Better cared for. But something even more important happened. I slowly started feeling like myself again. I never imagined that one day, instead of hiding my skin, people would compliment it. The same girl who once covered her arms and legs became the woman people would stop to ask, “What do you use on your skin?” “Your skin is so soft.” “Your legs are glowing.” That transformation wasn’t just about my skin. It changed the way I saw myself. It reminded me that confidence doesn’t come from having perfect skin. It comes from finally feeling comfortable in the skin you’re in. As more and more people asked me what I was using, I realized something. For years, these recipes had been our family’s little secret. But why should they stay a secret? Why keep something so meaningful to ourselves when it could help someone else feel confident too? That question became the beginning of Seven. Not because I wanted to start another skincare brand. But because I wanted other women—and men—to experience what I experienced. To look in the mirror and feel proud. To wear shorts without overthinking. To stop hiding. To feel confident. Because I truly believe that confidence begins with how you feel about yourself. And taking care of yourself is part of that. Somewhere along the way, so many of us forget ourselves. We spend our days taking care of our children, our families, our careers and everyone around us. We give so much of ourselves to others that we often forget to give something back to ourselves. It’s about standing in front of the mirror and saying, “I deserve this.” Six years ago, I introduced Seven to the world. The love and support we received were beyond anything I had imagined. Our community grew, our customers shared their stories, and together we built something truly special. You asked for larger jars. You wanted richer formulas. And because caring for nature has always been part of our story, we replaced our plastic packaging with elegant glass jars—a more sustainable choice that reflects the values Seven was built on. Today, every product has been carefully upgraded with even more nourishing natural ingredients and botanical oils, while staying true to the traditions that inspired it from the very beginning.
